WHY NOW
New York City now requires all residential buildings to use proper trash containers — no more loose bags on the sidewalk. That means bins are here to stay. And bins that get used every week get dirty fast: bacteria, odor, and residue build up quickly, especially through the summer months. Brooklyn Bin Co. exists to take that problem off your plate entirely.
FAQ
How does it work? We clean your bins the same day as your trash pickup, right after the sanitation truck comes through. You don't need to be home, move anything, or do anything at all. We handle it completely.
Do I need to provide water or supplies? No. We bring everything — our truck carries its own water supply and all cleaning equipment. You don't need a hose, an outlet, or anything from you or your building.
Why do I need this now? New York City now requires residential buildings to use proper trash containers instead of loose bags. That's a good thing — but bins get dirty fast. Bacteria, odor, and residue build up quickly, especially in warmer months. Regular cleaning keeps your bins sanitary and your building's entrance smelling clean.
What does the monthly service cover? The standard plan covers 2 bins per month. If you only have one bin, or have additional bins, reach out — we offer pricing based on your actual setup.
What do you do with the dirty water? We use a fully self-contained system — no wastewater is discharged onto sidewalks or into storm drains. We only use eco-friendly cleaning products, so what goes into our tank stays in our tank until proper disposal.
When does service start? We're launching in June 2026. Founding members who sign up now lock in $50/mo for the first year — after that, the standard rate is $69/mo. Spots are limited by neighborhood route.
